Lingerie Lowdown The Podcast

I am very excited to announce the start of my new podcast series!

Lingerie Lowdown The Podcast have invited me to run a series of podcast episodes sharing my thoughts and experiences. This is such a fabulous opportunity and I could not be more thrilled!

Episode 1 of Scarlot's Secrets has already been recorded and is making its way to you soon! This episode is mainly an introduction to my new series; talking about who I am and my plans for the show! I also include some basic information on polyamoury including: what it is to me, why I choose to be 'poly' and some key terminology. I highly recommend checking out the glossary on the More Than Two website for a full list of terms related to non-monogamous relationships.

During the current COVID-19 pandemic, relationships are more difficult than ever to form and sustain, especially those that do not fall into the nuclear family stereotype. All lockdown rules have been enforced with two-person, monogamous couples in mind and those with small families who all live in the same household. As a person who ethically and consensually dates multiple people yet chooses not to have a nesting partner (relationship that involves co-habitation) COVID-19 has forced me to make choices regarding my relationships that I would otherwise never have made. It has been a key factor in the end of several relationships and has been incredibly disruptive to my mental and physical health.

I am by no means the only person to face this struggle and i'm interested to hear how others are navigating the situation, both on a daily basis and when it comes to major events such as holiday periods.

In this podcast episode I discuss my thoughts and mitigations with holidays over the past several months such as Christmas and New Years Eve.
